About the position

The Picker/Packer - Ship From Store (SFS) role is essential for delivering a premium customer experience by efficiently picking and packing online orders for shipment. This position operates primarily overnight to maximize productivity, ensuring that hundreds of orders are processed each shift. Responsibilities

• Ensure timely receipt of orders, prioritizing customer experience.
• Identify opportunities to enhance internal processes for customer-centric focus.
• Communicate proactively with team and leadership to improve efficiencies.
• Pick, prepare, and pack online orders for SFS and BOPIS programs.
• Assemble, label, and complete shipping transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Unload freight from trucks and sort according to company procedures.
• Load completed orders onto trucks for delivery to customers.
• Participate in Loss Prevention procedures related to Omni-Channel processes.
• Process online orders efficiently to meet daily shipping quotas.
• Maintain high standards in the back room, ensuring organization and cleanliness.
• Minimize shrink or shipping errors by following proper policies and procedures.
• Assist team members to exceed expectations set by Store Management.
• Collaborate with Store Management and team members on projects.
• Train new team members on various JOANN processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.
• 1+ years of experience in a customer-centric environment preferred.
