About the position

The Online Sales Counselor at JP Brooks Builders is a pivotal role responsible for managing customer interactions and enhancing the sales process for homebuyers. This position involves setting appointments for the sales team, managing leads, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The counselor will leverage strong sales skills and marketing strategies to drive sales and exceed performance targets while providing exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance client experiences through effective communication via email, phone, and online live chat.
  • Ensure prompt responses to all customer inquiries, striving for a same-day email or phone response.
  • Efficiently manage and prioritize incoming leads to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Record and maintain up-to-date lead information in the CRM system.
  • Utilize effective qualification skills to identify warm leads with the potential to develop into genuine sales opportunities.
  • Set appointments for onsite sales consultants.
  • Manage new community leads and community launches.
  • Engage customers by asking relevant questions to understand their needs.
  • Develop a follow-up and drip campaign program tailored to both short and long-term leads.
  • Segment leads into categories based on their level of interest and the stage of the buying process.
  • Create relevant and engaging content that addresses the needs and interests of each segment.
  • Establish a schedule for the drip campaign and set goals for engagement and conversions.
  • Automate the campaign using marketing automation tools and track performance metrics.
  • Provide comprehensive information to incoming leads about current communities and available product offerings.
  • Stay informed about upcoming and available finished inventory to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Conduct walkthroughs of new models and floor plans as they become available.
  • Familiarize yourself with the standard quality features offered in each community.
  • Provide feedback to the Marketing Department regarding electronic marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the sales manager and sales team to establish a top-tier online sales process.

Requirements

  • 3 years of sales experience.
  • Experience working with and managing a comprehensive database.
  • Experience in managing long sales cycles.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a marketing team.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet management, analysis, research, financial projections, data aggregation, and report creation.
  • Skilled in computer systems, detail-oriented data entry, and exceptional organization.
  • Self-motivated, process-oriented, and possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, work amidst interruptions, and solve problems creatively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in new home construction sales.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
