Online Sales Specialist/ Pawnbroker

About the position

The Online Sales Specialist/Pawnbroker role involves managing online sales through various platforms while also engaging in the buying and selling of new and used goods in a pawn shop setting. The position requires strong communication skills, reliability, and knowledge of firearms, as well as the ability to handle physical tasks related to the sale of items such as ATVs and scooters.

Responsibilities

• Manage online sales through platforms like eBay, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, and Mercari.
• Pack and ship sold items efficiently.
• Engage in the buying and selling of new and used goods in a pawn shop environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain good communication with customers.
• Ensure compliance with firearm knowledge and regulations, including passing a background check.
• Physically handle and display items such as ATVs, scooters, and e-bikes.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in online sales (e.g., eBay, Etsy, Mercari).
• 1 year of in-person sales experience.
• 1 year of experience in packing and shipping items.
• Valid Firearms License and knowledge of firearms; Concealed Weapons Permit preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of the pawn business (training available).
