About the position

The Java Developer with Kafka position is a long-term role focused on developing high-performance, high-availability systems using Java and related technologies. The role requires extensive experience in microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and effective time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Extensive development experience with Java/J2EE, Core Java, Multi-Threading, Microservices framework.
• Building high performance, high availability systems in a microservices architecture framework.
• Building workflow interfaces with Spring microservices.
• Experience with cloud-based offerings such as Amazon EC2 and EKS.
• Working on Reactive JAVA, J2EE, microservices, and build tools such as Ant and Maven.
• Implementing Spring security, REST Web services, Apigee API gateway, and Hibernate.
• Working experience in RMQ, JMS, and Kafka, including developing message listeners/consumers.
• Knowledge of various DBMS technologies including MySQL, PostGres, Oracle, Cassandra, and Redis.
• Working on Front-end technologies such as ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
• Managing time effectively to work on multiple project timelines simultaneously in a demanding deadline-driven environment.
• Using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Conducting unit tests, code reviews, assessing and improving site/software performance, and maintaining design and code documentation.
