About the position

The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will play a critical role in building and enhancing the DevSecOps platform capability that integrates with AWS. This position requires extensive experience in cloud-native technologies, particularly Kubernetes and containerization, to ensure the security and connectivity of applications. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide leadership in the strategy and selection of tools necessary for effective DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with architect, principal and lead engineer, and other team members on design and implement tasks.
• Plan and build roadmaps for the EKS and AWS DevOps Implementation.
• Build Applications with EKS and AWS best practices.
• Accountable for meeting milestones.
• Conduct code review, unit and integration testing.
• Document system design and unit testing information.
• Automation of manual steps.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in DevSecOps roles.
• Hands on experience with EKS and AWS.
• Proficient in Python and Shell scripting.
• Experience with Cloudbees, BitBucket, Sonar, Artifactory, and CloudNative Practices.
• Outstanding knowledge in Continuous Integration (CI), Testing (CT), Security and deployment (CD) concepts.
• Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong Linux and Windows administration skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Self-starter and quick learner.

• Previous experience in strategy and selection of DevSecOps tools.
