About the position

The Lead Mobile Developer role at Insight Global is designed to provide clear ownership for the delivery of large projects and programs. This position requires overseeing, guiding, and actively participating in the delivery of specific project areas, while developing strong partnerships with Product Managers, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes clear communication within engineering to mitigate risks and ensure delivery success, while also requiring technical expertise in both Android and iOS development to contribute to planning, engineering, and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide the delivery of specific project areas.
• Develop strong partnerships with Product Managers and Project Managers.
• Facilitate delivery of roadmap initiatives through effective communication.
• Participate in all aspects of planning, engineering, and delivery.
• Actively contribute to development and delivery to ensure team success.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the entire Android and iOS development cycle and technical stack.
• Experience with Object Oriented (OO) software design.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT.
• In-depth mobile development experience with Kotlin, Java, Android SDK/Frameworks, REST APIs, JSON.
• Experience overseeing the entire feature delivery process, including requirement gathering, development, and functional testing.
• Experience working on enterprise or consumer-grade apps, building SDKs, and/or payment processing.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and mobile platform capabilities.
• Experience sizing and estimating projects based on technical documents and Jira stories.
• In-depth mobile development experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, iOS SDK/Frameworks, REST APIs, JSON, GIT.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and experience setting up deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of MVVM and VIPER development patterns.
• Strong understanding of the XCTest and XCUITest framework.
