Nesco Resource is seeking an onsite Data Center Technician in the greater Santa Clara, CA area. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and dedicated, handling customer calls promptly and efficiently. The onsite engineer will service all client needs, including server hardware break-fix and IMAC support, as well as providing smart hand support for network equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and supporting systems and equipment from major brands such as DELL, Oracle, IBM, and Client Servers. The technician will diagnose, analyze, and repair product failures, order and replace parts as needed, and follow all client policies and procedures while adhering to best practices. Additionally, the technician will present problem resolutions or refer more complex issues to a Senior Support Engineer. Maintaining parts and inventory, documenting activities, and demonstrating strong organizational skills are essential. A positive attitude and strong analytical skills are also crucial for success in this role.
