About the position
The Onsite Maintenance Operations and Landscape Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of community parks and amenity centers. This role involves managing work crews, planning daily activities, and ensuring quality control of landscaping and maintenance services. The supervisor will also handle hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff, while maintaining accountability with vendors and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance workers and landscaping vendors.
- Schedule work crews and plan daily work activities.
- Conduct performance evaluations for maintenance staff.
- Assist in preparation of Scope of Repair and Scope of Work.
- Respond to Request for Information (RFI's) from contractors.
- Conduct pre-construction meetings and perform project safety checks.
- Document projects with Daily Reports and Occurrence Reports.
- Schedule site visits and compile Punch List items for repairs.
- Attend weekly Services team meetings and manage day-to-day operations.
- Inspect parks and facilities to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage technical issues related to the irrigation system.
Requirements
- Four-year degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in landscaping and maintenance industries required.
- 5 years of experience as a project manager preferred.
- 5 years of experience as an estimator preferred.
- HVAC certification preferred and CPO certification preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Maxicom system for irrigation control.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead large projects and communicate effectively.
