About the position
CoxHealth is seeking an Information Technology Software Engineer to design and develop software applications while providing technical support to ensure the successful implementation of technology initiatives. The role involves maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting existing systems, as well as researching and implementing new technologies. The focus will be on implementing and supporting enterprise resource planning application integrations connected to the Workday application. This position is part of an IT integration team responsible for integrating various systems and applications, requiring a deep understanding of integration best practices, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. This is an onsite position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred)
- 3 years of experience in software development, programming, or related field (for IT Software Engineer I)
- 5 years of experience in software development, programming, or related field (for IT Software Engineer II)
- 8 years of experience in software development, programming, or related field (for IT Software Engineer III)
- 15+ years of experience in software development, programming, or related field (for IT Software Engineer IV)
- Proficient in at least one programming language (for IT Software Engineer I)
- Proficient in programming languages (for IT Software Engineer II)
- Proficient in multiple programming languages (for IT Software Engineer III and IV)
- Strong problem-solving skills (for IT Software Engineer III and IV)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice-to-haves
- Master's Degree (preferred for IT Software Engineer III and IV)
- Experience in leading software development teams (for IT Software Engineer III and IV)
- Experience in software design and architecture (for IT Software Engineer III and IV)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (for IT Software Engineer III)
