About the position

The Onsite IT Support Technician role focuses on providing exceptional technical support services to customers, ensuring a seamless experience with hardware and software. The position involves both local and remote desktop support, troubleshooting various technical issues, and maintaining effective communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day local/remote desktop support.
  • Handle inbound calls and answer questions related to IT issues.
  • Troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software, and application issues in a ticketing system.
  • Support Level 2 technical issues related to software and hardware.
  • Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Teams support.
  • Perform imaging and inventory management of IT assets.

Requirements

  • 18 months of IT experience (or equivalent).
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience in operating systems, applications, and hardware installation and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to install and set up new computer systems and perform routine maintenance.
  • Effective communication skills with clients, team members, and management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft products including Outlook and SCCM.
  • Knowledge of phone configuration and network systems.
