About the position

As an Onsite IT Support Technician at Hemmersbach, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and services to our clients. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently while addressing service work orders for various devices including PCs, laptops, phones, and peripherals. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to operating systems, applications, and hardware installations. Your role will involve direct interaction with clients, necessitating excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships. In this position, you will utilize your technical knowledge to evaluate unique circumstances and make informed recommendations. You will work on problems and projects of moderate complexity, exercising independent judgment within defined practices and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of IT experience or equivalent, with a proven ability to manage time effectively and provide disposal services as needed. Responsibilities

  • Address service work orders for PCs, laptops, phones, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and hardware installations.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to evaluate unique circumstances and make recommendations.
  • Provide disposal services as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and build strong relationships.
  • Exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures.
  • Provide feedback on new technical processes to help drive efficiency.

Requirements

  • 18 months of IT experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience in operating systems, applications, and hardware installation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge.
  • Experience working on problems/projects of moderate complexity.
  • Ability to independently problem solve.
