About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations within our distribution center. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient inventory management and logistics processes while maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of e-commerce operations, inventory control, and materials handling.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high productivity levels.
  • Manage inventory control processes, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing improvements.
  • Coordinate logistics activities to optimize distribution efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and promote a culture of safety within the warehouse.
  • Utilize AS400 software for inventory management and reporting purposes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the mechanical maintenance of warehouse equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inventory management and control within a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
  • Proficiency in AS400 or similar inventory management systems.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes related to e-commerce operations.
  • Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with other departments.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
  • Must be forklift certified.
  • Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
