About the position

The Onsite Maintenance Technician at RealManage is responsible for performing general maintenance of buildings and grounds at Homeowners Association (HOA) residential communities. This role operates under the direction of the Maintenance Director and involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the upkeep and functionality of community facilities. The technician will engage in both preventative and routine maintenance, ensuring that all work orders are completed efficiently using the work order system. Responsibilities also include general maintenance, janitorial duties, and grounds work throughout the Community Associations. The technician will conduct periodic inspections of the grounds and common area buildings, advising the supervisor of any needed repairs, improvements, or safety issues that arise. The position requires a solid understanding of various maintenance skills, including carpentry, concrete work, door repairs, drywall, fencing, cleaning, gutter maintenance, lock repairs, plumbing, and painting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, with a preference for those who have experience in carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, plumbing, and painting. While experience in cleaning, locks, and gutters is highly desired, proficiency in problem-solving and the ability to use tools and materials safely is essential. Additionally, experience with simple electric maintenance and pool maintenance is a plus, although not mandatory. Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance of buildings and grounds at HOA residential communities under the direction of the Maintenance Director.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure completion of work orders using the work order system.
  • Carry out general maintenance, janitorial, and grounds work throughout the Community Associations.
  • Perform periodic inspections of grounds, common area buildings, and structures.
  • Advise the supervisor of needed repairs, improvements, and safety issues.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience with carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, plumbing, and painting required.
  • Experience with cleaning, locks, and gutters highly desired.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English; bilingual is a plus.
  • Proficient problem-solver with the ability to use tools, supplies, materials, and chemicals safely.
  • Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Pool maintenance experience is a plus, but not necessary.
