About the position

The Onsite Project Coordinator will act as an ambassador for PCG at the client's warehouse, primarily responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and supporting the onsite employee workforce. This role requires close collaboration with team leaders and Human Resources to ensure smooth operations and employee engagement. The position is initially based in Vineland, NJ, transitioning to Cranbury, NJ after a few months, with a flexible daily work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and pre-qualify employees for various warehouse roles including general warehouse, shipping/receiving, health and safety, drivers, quality control, inventory, and office-related positions.
• Ensure timely arrival and clocking in/out of PCG hires for breaks.
• Partner with Human Resources on employee relations and address issues as they arise.
• Develop employee engagement and retention strategies.
• Maintain quick response times to requests from team leaders onsite.
• Build strong partnerships with all department leaders.
• Onboard new hires by explaining warehouse policies and procedures.
• Provide information to Human Resources for processing background checks and drug tests for new hires.
• Ensure necessary paperwork is completed in partnership with Human Resources.
• Collaborate with PCG marketing on job postings and recruitment strategies to maintain a strong talent pipeline.
• Perform other operational responsibilities to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in HR/Recruitment or a leadership role within a warehouse with recruitment responsibilities.
• Thoughtful communication style and adaptability to a fast-changing environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to work quickly and effectively.
• Strong communication skills and follow-through capabilities.
• Comfortable with basic Excel reporting.
