About the position

The SQL ETL Developer position focuses on database development and support within the healthcare domain. The role requires extensive experience in MS SQL Server and involves working with ETL processes, data structures, and reporting tools. The developer will be responsible for optimizing T-SQL queries and may also engage with .Net Framework and healthcare data standards such as X12 and HL7.

Responsibilities

• Perform database development and support for healthcare applications.
• Develop and optimize T-SQL queries using MS SQL Server 2016/2019.
• Maintain and monitor SQL databases, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with teams to design and implement ETL processes.
• Utilize scripting or programming languages to enhance database functionality.
• Work with .Net Framework, WebAPIs, X12, and HL7 standards.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in database (RDMS) development and support.
• 7 years of experience with MS SQL Server.
• Detailed knowledge of database technical architectures and ETL processes.
• Fluency in at least one scripting or programming language.
• Highly skilled in T-SQL (DDL, DML, DCL) development.
• Experience in programming, analysis, and design in a healthcare setting.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with artificial intelligence language tools for job description enhancement.
