About the position

The OOMA Database Administrator (DBA/A) is responsible for the daily upkeep and management of Maintenance Activities databases, ensuring the integrity and security of data related to aircraft maintenance. This role involves monitoring system processes, managing print requests, and maintaining logs and records for aircraft and associated components. The DBA/A will also be tasked with extracting and analyzing maintenance data, developing management reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant military instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily upkeep of the Maintenance Activities databases.
  • Monitor and manage print requests and printer configurations.
  • View and monitor system information and broadcast messages.
  • Manage log-in capabilities and monitor server processes.
  • Schedule and reject jobs, maintaining pre-defined jobs.
  • Maintain system security and advise on OOMA inputs.
  • Extract, analyze, and validate maintenance data.
  • Develop and interpret management reports.
  • Monitor data and parameters for up-line reporting and related interface requirements.
  • Maintain, issue, and dispose of aircraft, engine, and associated component equipment logs and records.
  • Maintain inventory records including aircraft and engine reports in accordance with applicable instructions.
  • Process readiness documents and administer the aircraft configuration status accounting program.
  • Verify aircraft utilization reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business or Management discipline, or an Associate's degree plus four years of additional work experience, or eight years of additional work experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of five years recent aircraft maintenance support experience as a DBA/A in the United States Navy/USMC/United States Coast Guard O-Level/I-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 series.
  • Rotary Wing Aircraft experience within the last five years is required.
  • Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance and maintain a favorable Tier 5 background investigation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience supporting IPTs and ITTs is preferred.
  • S-92, VH-92A, VH-3D, and VH-60N experience preferred.
