About the position

The OpEx Intern position at Arthrex Manufacturing, Inc. is designed for students pursuing degrees in industrial engineering, business, or data analytics. The intern will support the Operations Excellence team by participating in various improvement initiatives, including LEAN training and kaizen events, while gathering and analyzing data to provide actionable recommendations. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment and is scheduled to run from May 2025 to August 2025.

Responsibilities

• Participate in LEAN training and time studies.
• Support kaizen events and MDI implementation.
• Gather and analyze data for daily improvement boards.
• Provide recommendations based on data analysis.
• Create and present findings to Operations Excellence Management.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in industrial engineering, business, or data analytics.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week during the internship period.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.
