About the position

Eataly is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team for the Grand Opening of their first New Jersey location at the Mall at Short Hills. This upscale casual dining marketplace offers a unique experience where guests can eat authentic Italian food, shop for high-quality products, and learn through various classes. The open call hiring event aims to fill multiple positions in a vibrant and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a high-volume café setting.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to Eataly's standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and dining areas.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of café operations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• At least one year of high-volume café experience.
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
