About the position
Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking both entry-level and experienced Security Officers for full-time positions in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of client properties and personnel through observation and reporting of activities and incidents. Candidates will have the opportunity to advance their careers based on performance and will receive on-the-spot offers during open interviews.
Responsibilities
- Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites.
- Provide security and safety for client property and personnel.
- Meet and maintain applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
- Engage in frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may require long periods of time and involve climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain.
- Lift and/or move items up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass a lifetime background check and a drug screen.
- Must be COVID vaccinated (2 shots).
- Must have an annual flu shot during flu season.
- Must have completed and graduated from a high school diploma program and/or a GED program.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- A background in customer service is highly desired.

- Experience in security or law enforcement is a plus.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
