About the position
Loving Home Care, LLC is seeking dedicated caregivers to assist an elderly lady in her home in East Nashville, TN. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling options available. Caregivers will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to enhance the quality of life for the client. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, meal preparation, and ensuring the safety and comfort of the client in their home environment. The working hours are from Monday to Sunday, specifically from 11 am to 4:30 pm, allowing caregivers to select the days they wish to work. Responsibilities
- Assist an elderly lady in her home with daily living activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals according to care plans and dietary needs.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
Requirements
- Experience in dementia care and senior care preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the client's needs.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus.
- Certification in caregiving or related fields.
