About the position
Gettysburg College invites applications for an open rank visiting faculty position in the Department of Economics. This position will be hired for a three-year term, renewable each year based on a favorable performance review. Given our mission-inscribed values to effect change for the greater good, our search is grounded in our Economics Department's commitment to the values of diversity, equity and inclusion. This position will support the college's new Finance major, which is jointly managed by the Economics and Management Departments.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in Financial Econometrics, Advanced Quantitative Finance, and Introductory and Intermediate Micro and/or Macro Economics.
- Advise students in the Finance major after the first year.
- Manage a teaching load equivalent to 3 courses each semester.
