About the position

The School of Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking applicants for an Open-rank faculty position in the Electrical and Computer Engineering program. The role involves teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses, engaging in research, and contributing to university service. Preference is given to candidates who can teach in Robotics or Artificial Intelligence (AI) alongside programming. The position is set to commence in Fall 2025.

Responsibilities

• Teaching both undergraduate and master's level Electrical and Computer Engineering courses.
• Engaging in research and scholarly activity.
• Performing service to the university and the profession, including academic advising, student engagement, and serving on committees.

Requirements

• M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated success in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Demonstrated success with research and scholarly activities related to Engineering.
• At least 3-5 years of demonstrated practical/industry related experience.
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Nice-to-haves

• Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related discipline.
