The School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at The University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas) is seeking to fill multiple open-rank tenure system faculty positions in the Department of Biological Sciences. These positions are available at the Full, Associate, or Assistant Professor levels, and the department has identified three priority areas for hiring: biochemistry, particularly focusing on metabolic disorders, cancer, and other human diseases; bioinformatics and computational biology; and neurobiology. The department is looking for candidates who can address significant questions in biological and biomedical research, particularly those who employ novel interdisciplinary, computational, and experimental approaches. Candidates will be expected to lead outstanding research and teaching programs that complement the existing strengths of the department and synergize with other departments within the school and across the university. The Department of Biological Sciences is a vibrant community that values effective training for both graduate and undergraduate students.
