About the position

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking an Open-Rank Intermediate and Senior Business Services Professional to support the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This role involves operational management, policy development, and administrative duties, with a focus on recruitment, procurement, and event coordination. The position is designed for individuals with varying levels of experience, providing opportunities for both intermediate and senior professionals to contribute to the division's success.

Responsibilities

  • Execute projects assigned by the Division Chief or Division Administrative Director.
  • Handle and maintain routine correspondence and sensitive employee information.
  • Manage recruitment postings, interviews, and candidate dispositioning for Faculty and Research Services Professionals.
  • Perform procurement functions including travel card, procurement card, and purchase orders.
  • Field phone calls, emails, and general questions sent to the division.
  • Support the Division Chief and Division Administrative Director with calendar management.
  • Assist with QGenda/Amion Schedules.
  • Assist in the education, vacation, and sick leave reporting for the division.
  • Coordinate division level didactic schedules and outreach meetings.
  • Assist with creation of reimbursement reports in Concur.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 1 year of business administrative experience in an academic setting for Intermediate level.
  • 2 years of business administrative experience in an academic setting for Senior level.

Nice-to-haves

  • 6 months of experience in HR operations or hiring processes for Intermediate level.
  • 1 year of experience with QGenda scheduling software.
  • 1 year of experience with Survey Monkey for faculty recruitment evaluations.
  • 1 year of experience with Concur travel and expense reimbursement system.
