About the position
The University of Delaware's Biomedical Engineering Department is seeking an Open Rank Professor (Continuing Track) to join their faculty. This position focuses primarily on teaching, with responsibilities in biomedical systems modeling, instrumentation, imaging, and data analysis. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's new online Master's program in pharmaceutical modeling, set to launch in Fall 2025. Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in biomedical systems modeling, instrumentation, imaging, and data analysis.
- Support the new online Master's program in pharmaceutical modeling.
- Engage in departmental service activities.
- Participate in research activities as needed.
- Develop and teach technical electives or graduate-level courses.
Requirements
- PhD degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
