About the position
The Open Rank Professor position in Engineering Education at Texas Tech University is a full-time, 9-month, tenured/tenure-track role aimed at advancing engineering education through research, teaching, and community engagement. Responsibilities
- Contribute to research activities in CASFER and ISCE.
- Serve within an engineering department.
- Advance engineering education by developing educational materials and engaging in education-focused scholarship.
Requirements
- PhD in an engineering discipline or a closely related field.
- Evidence of research expertise aligned with CASFER and ISCE.
- Evidence of publications of scholarly work in line with the rank applied for.
- Evidence of contributing to engineering education through developing educational materials and engaging in the scholarship of education.
- Evidence of a sustained record of externally funded research programs.
