About The Position
The Center for Shock, Trauma and Anesthesiology Research (STAR) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Medicine is seeking a motivated candidate to provide guidance and technical expertise to laboratory research projects. This role involves overseeing research activities, ensuring the design and implementation of research protocols, and assisting in various projects related to mitochondrial biology, neuroinflammation, traumatic brain injury, and neurodegenerative diseases. The position may be filled as either a Research Assistant or Research Specialist based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
