About the position
The Opening Server at Jeremiah's Italian Ice is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting with the daily operations of the store. This role involves taking orders, preparing products, and ensuring a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for guests. The ideal candidate will embody the company's core values and contribute to a fun and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Taking guests' orders with a friendly smile.
- Creating flavorful experiences for each guest according to five-star service.
- Answering questions accurately and politely.
- Serving Jeremiah's products that consistently exceed expectations in image and quality.
- Exhibiting the desire to work on a team and embrace a collaborative work environment.
- Serving all guests efficiently while maintaining superior five-star service.
- Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge.
- Performing opening and closing responsibilities.
- Offering suggestions and guidance to guests pertaining to our menu and services.
- Maintaining knowledge of Limited Time Offers, specials, promotional items, catering orders, Rewards Program and other operational knowledge.
- Preparing all Jeremiah's Italian Ice products, which may require lifting 50lbs to shoulder height and intense manual labor.
- Maintaining a unit that is both so fresh and so clean.
- Stocking and organizing the store for maximum efficiency.
- Handling cash and other forms of payment.
- Maintaining the qualities of a Top Frog Squad member.
Requirements
- At least one year of quick service, fast casual, retail experience or relevant experience volunteering and providing customer service (not required for entry-level applicants).
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills and well-spoken communication.
