Responsibilities

• Handling client requests for import and export inquiries.
• Preparing customs documentation and ensuring compliance with import and export laws.
• Routing shipments, negotiating rates, and arranging for delivery or storage.
• Working with customs officials to meet legal requirements.
• Interacting with clients regarding billing disputes and shipment status.
• Tracking and tracing shipments, including entering milestones and exceptions.
• Arranging special transport for sensitive cargoes such as livestock, food, or medical supplies.
• Unloading and organizing products from deliveries in the warehouse.
• Using scanners to document product information and monitor systems for order accuracy.
• Selecting products for orders and packaging them for shipment.
• Loading packages onto trucks and creating shipping labels.
• Inspecting products for defects and ensuring quality requirements are met.
• Maintaining a clean warehouse and ensuring worker safety.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
