About The Position

The Operations Lead position at ASM Global involves performing essential tasks to clean, maintain, and prepare the Florence Center for various events. This part-time role requires direct supervision and includes both skilled and semi-skilled duties to ensure the facility operates smoothly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1 year of custodial experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good organization skills.
• Good oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Must be able to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the Requisition Conversion process in preparation for events.
• Set up and tear down flooring, portable chair placements, operable walls, barricades, staging tables, and other furnishings and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas, and replenish supplies.
• Assist with pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, stripping, carpet cleaning, window washing, and waxing.
• Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage, loss of property, and safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
• Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
