The Maintenance Analyst plays a crucial role in our operations by acting as a liaison between the maintenance and operational teams. This position is responsible for prioritizing, planning, and verifying that maintenance assets are utilized efficiently. The Maintenance Analyst will participate in daily operations meetings and monthly/annual outage meetings to ensure that project costs, scopes, and timelines are adhered to. This role requires collaboration with both Operations and Maintenance teams to identify necessary work and generate work order requests based on daily and weekly priorities. In addition to coordinating with Maintenance Supervisors, the Maintenance Analyst will review Basic Care reports to generate corrective action work requests. It is essential that all work requests are prepared with detailed information, including the correct equipment location and work type, as well as realistic priorities and target completion dates. The Maintenance Analyst will also utilize backlog reports to guide maintenance activities and ensure efficient execution of work by maintenance and contractors. This position supports the Maintenance Planner in detailed planning for daily, weekly, and shutdown processes, and plays a key role in addressing chronic problems through root cause failure analysis (RCFA). Safety is paramount, and the Maintenance Analyst will coordinate lock out tag out (LO/TO) events to ensure that all equipment is safely locked and available for work to commence on time.
