About the position

The Operational Excellence Lead is responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives, enhancing data analytics capabilities, and optimizing fleet management operations within the organization. This role requires a strong background in operational excellence, digitalization, and analytics, with a focus on implementing successful process improvements and managing fleet operations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of digitalization strategies to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Identify and integrate new technologies and digital tools to enhance operational processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions.
  • Develop and maintain advanced analytics models to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of the company's fleet operations.
  • Implement best practices for fleet maintenance, utilization, and cost control.
  • Monitor fleet performance metrics and develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Oversee insurance claims, fuel spend, vehicle management, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Manage the process of adding necessary vehicle modifications.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the organization to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct process mapping, root cause analysis, and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Train and mentor team members on process improvement techniques and tools.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and support for improvement projects.
  • Direct and support Operational Support Admins.
  • Supervise Tooling and Procurement focusing on tooling and order management.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers for fleet-related services.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of fleet supplies and services.
  • Lead lean projects and initiatives aimed at reducing waste, improving quality, and driving operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational excellence, digitalization, and analytics.
  • Proven experience in fleet management and optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
