About the position

As the Operational Excellence Manager for Supply Chain Distribution at Millipore Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in leading and enhancing the Operational Excellence (OpEx) initiatives at the Milwaukee Distribution Site. This position is integral to the Integrated Supply Chain Operations (ISCO) Excellence Team, where you will be responsible for coordinating various OpEx-related initiatives, building a robust OpEx project portfolio, managing resources effectively, and driving the execution of projects. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing best practices and facilitating knowledge transfer across the organization, ensuring that continuous improvement is not just a goal but a daily practice within the team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in operational excellence to inspire and motivate the organization towards a culture of continuous improvement. You will utilize your knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains. Your ability to foster partnerships and collaboration will be essential as you work closely with cross-functional teams to align OpEx initiatives with broader business objectives. You will also be responsible for tracking the progress of OpEx projects, measuring their impact, and reporting on outcomes to senior management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operational excellence, with a proven track record of successfully implementing continuous improvement strategies. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience in operational excellence and continuous improvement methodologies.
