About the position

The Operational Readiness Program Manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona plays a crucial role in supporting the Workforce Readiness Teams to ensure business and people readiness during system implementations or process changes. This position requires a deep understanding of the company's business areas to assess organizational impacts and ensure that leaders and employees are equipped to serve consumers and members with minimal disruption after changes occur.

Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic program management for communication, training, and operational excellence teams to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop, manage, and distribute workforce readiness playbook across the portfolio of programs, including accelerators and templates.
  • Manage a set of workforce readiness resources, including providing ongoing evaluation of demands across programs and develop staffing plan to meet current needs.
  • Partner with communications team and change management teams to develop internal communications strategy, planning and delivery for enterprise-wide communication.
  • Partner with Business to develop communications plan for internal readiness communication for managers and end users regarding implementations and system changes.
  • Conduct stakeholder assessments and communicate needs to training, operational excellence and communication teams.
  • Partner with workforce development and IT teams to ensure training environment strategy is developed and implemented.
  • Conduct business readiness assessments and activities.
  • Manage integrated project plan across programs to ensure consistency and oversee delivery of activities.
  • Partner with workforce development team to assist with training strategy to meet needs of various stakeholder groups including system training and desk-level procedures.
  • Partner with operational excellence team to establish standards for future state workflows.
  • Perform all other workforce readiness activities identified or assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience leading/managing technical and business projects
  • 3 years of experience in business analysis, systems applications and/or operations
  • 3 years of experience in project management
  • 2 years of Agile experience
  • High School diploma or GED in a general field of study
