About the position

The Operations Admin II - HR position at Federal Express Corporation involves providing clerical and administrative support to the human resources department. The role focuses on assisting with the talent acquisition process, maintaining personnel files, generating HR reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Responsibilities

  • Provides support for the Package Handler talent acquisition process, including scheduling interviews and monitoring background checks.
  • Supports Non-Package Handler hiring by preparing interview guides and managing applicant tracking system support.
  • Maintains personnel files for all employees and provides customer service for HR-related processes.
  • Generates, compiles, and distributes HR reports and participates in special projects such as job fairs.
  • Provides clerical support to management functions, including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
  • Assists management with Business Control Self-Assessment (BCSA) audit activity by retrieving data and files for review.
  • Supports timely delivery and mitigates loss by performing address searches and ensuring packages are in good condition.
  • Reviews and enters Independent Contractor settlement information into the appropriate system for proper payments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One year of experience in HR clerical support or a related area is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and web-based applications is necessary.
  • Strong customer service skills to respond effectively to requests.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex information.
  • Time management and organizational skills to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
