About the position

The Operations/Administrations Analyst will support an Army Aviation Project Office at Redstone Arsenal, AL, acting as the principal adviser to the Acquisition Operations Division (AOD) Chief. This role involves managing, coordinating, and executing various mission functions and activities across the staff, ensuring effective communication and project management within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Operations/Administrations officer and principal adviser to the Acquisition Operations Division (AOD).
  • Manage, coordinate, and execute the mission, functions, and activities across the staff.
  • Act as the principal point of contact for operational and administrative tasks related to project planning and prioritization management.
  • Support the coordination and staffing of Project/Product Office requirements with subordinate organizations and Program Management Offices.
  • Coordinate PM/PdO conferences, ceremonies, and events.
  • Review and compose correspondence/documents for the Command team to ensure they meet senior leadership's intent.
  • Manage office battle rhythm including meetings, agendas, and administrative documents.
  • Generate, prioritize, and manage correspondence within AOD.
  • Track input, review team updates, and submit UAS Staff Call charts.
  • Prepare correspondence for AOD Division Chief, PM, and/or PEO signature in accordance with AR 25-50.
  • Manage calendars for the AOD Division Chief, scheduling meetings and events.
  • Monitor visitor access and direct visitors in support of meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 15 years of applicable experience.
  • Familiarity with Army Enterprise Staff Management System's (AESMS) Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Program Management experience with extensive knowledge of contract actions and documents including Statements of Work (SOW), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and Memorandum of Understanding or Agreements (MOU/MOA).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with others.
  • Skilled in interpersonal and intergovernmental communications.
  • Ability to interface collaboratively with various levels of senior leaders, managers, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive material.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMs, SharePoint, Army 365, etc.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in SharePoint.
