Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is seeking a dedicated professional to join our Quality Assurance team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of data management processes within our organization. The successful candidate will assist in the management and distribution of tasks within the Quality Assurance team, providing supervision and support to junior staff members working on various product lines and projects. This role involves participating in the decision-making process and goal-setting for the overall team, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the organization's objectives. In terms of data management, the candidate will lead, assess, and transform Excel data to be compatible with pre-defined templates. This includes loading data into these templates, confirming correct entry, and ensuring interaction with automated functions. The role requires identifying and communicating data quality issues, summarizing requirements for follow-up, and validating data management tasks performed by other team members. The candidate will manage a queue of data management tasks, ensuring prompt delivery and clear communication throughout the process. The position also involves data analysis and validation, where the candidate will summarize results of ETL data activities and report findings to the team lead. This includes producing reports on collected data within mandated time frames and conducting financial analysis of cost reports, including trend analysis, variance analysis, and root cause investigations. The candidate will gather and interpret cost and/or ratio data to identify variances and trends, create reports, and perform advanced analysis as necessary. Additionally, the role requires performing desk audits of cost reports to validate data against supporting documentation and creating visualizations and ad hoc analytics as needed. Quality assurance and control are key components of this role, as the candidate will perform multiple levels of quality control on various data sources, work collaboratively with colleagues to complete necessary desk and compliance reviews, and monitor and track data received for projects. The candidate will also be responsible for communicating with internal clients about data discrepancies, missing information, and upcoming deadlines, ensuring that all issues are escalated appropriately. This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work hours, but requires the candidate to be available during set working hours and to maintain a distraction-free work environment. The role may involve low to no travel, with a maximum of 10% expected for team or client meetings. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service and will be able to juggle multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail.
