About the position

As a member of the SEI Wealth Platform, US Operations, the Corporate Actions Analyst role requires a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual to work in a team environment, managing multiple tasks in a time-sensitive delivery schedule. The Corporate Actions team proactively researches, interprets, notifies, and processes events for Mutual Fund and Traditional Assets. They are responsible for processing Income events on SEI's Wealth Platform with a team of analysts. This position is crucial in ensuring that all corporate actions are handled efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall success of the operations team. The Corporate Actions Analyst will engage in basic processing and service activities specific to the team function. This includes reviewing, analyzing, and entering client information and transactions into multiple systems, setting up securities, and performing general account level maintenance. The role also involves some level of client contact, responding to inquiries in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Analysts will work on special projects as needed, perform research and analysis of root cause conditions, and implement solutions as assigned. Effective interaction with multiple operational processing teams is essential, as is maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, quality, and privacy. The analyst will manage a time-sensitive delivery schedule and participate in developing, maintaining, and ensuring that the associated Procedures and Controls around Income processing are carried out according to policies to satisfy all audits and minimize any and all risk. They will be accountable for working towards agreed Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) to ensure the delivery of services to clients in an accurate and timely manner. Responsibilities also include reconciling and clearing suspense accounts and reconciliation breaks, proactively researching, interpreting, notifying, and processing income events for both Mutual Funds and Traditional Assets. Regular and reliable attendance is expected in accordance with position, business, and client needs, along with preparing and processing error-free transactions accurately and in a timely manner according to SEI procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Providing coverage and support to various team members and assisting with related activities within SWP US Operations Services.
  • Preparing and processing error-free transactions accurately and in a timely manner, according to instructions and SEI procedure.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience required.
  • Preference in Accounting, Finance or Business related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
