About the position

The Operations Analyst Director at Fiserv is responsible for driving key initiatives and managing escalations to ensure transparency and effective decision-making. This role focuses on engaging business leaders and integrating processes to enhance service delivery for internal and external clients. The director will lead product troubleshooting initiatives, ensuring successful execution and tracking of complex business activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and tracking of problem-solving and testing activities for business work streams and client product customization.
  • Identify and interpret customer data requirements to enhance service delivery.
  • Analyze data related to escalations to determine root causes and provide timely resolutions, capturing risks and issues to prevent future problems.
  • Advise managers on findings and resolutions to address issues effectively.
  • Partner with operational teams to overhaul procedures and ensure stakeholder satisfaction with final deliverables.
  • Ensure business solutions align with outlined goals and priorities.
  • Manage vendor billing and payment distribution.
  • Negotiate and review contracts with suppliers for timely delivery and fair pricing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience as an Operations Analyst.
  • 4+ years of experience negotiating contract terms in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Proficiency in analytical and problem-solving skills, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, including advanced Excel functions and data visualization tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft correspondence for escalations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a continually transitioning business environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis for change management initiatives.
  • 10+ years of experience in contract negotiations in the Financial Services industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Banking, Credit Issuer, or Financial Services industry.
  • 5+ years of experience driving large-scale initiatives or change efforts.
