About The Position

Amentum is currently seeking an Operations Analyst I to support the PM Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office under Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier, located in Fort Belvoir, VA. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and cohesive team dedicated to providing and rapidly delivering enhanced protection, individual equipment, and aviation life support capabilities. The mission of the team is to ensure combat overmatch and facilitate mission execution for soldiers in the field. This role is contingent upon the award of the project, emphasizing the importance of adaptability and readiness in a fast-paced environment. As an Operations Analyst I, you will be expected to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on various technical assignments. You may be assigned responsibilities that require participation in team project efforts, supporting organizational-level operations and information flow with higher headquarters, subordinate organizations, and external stakeholders. Your role will involve managing taskers and staffing packets, developing and publishing organizational-level operations functional policies and procedures, and creating orders, letters of instruction, and other directives and communications such as EXSUMs, information papers, briefings, and reports. In addition to these responsibilities, you will control, manage, and schedule organizational resources, including conference rooms and calendars. You will also plan, resource, and support organizational events such as command and staff meetings, town halls, and ceremonies. Archiving operations functional documents and information will be a key part of your duties, as well as representing operations functional leadership at meetings and conferences. You will be responsible for planning and managing facility requirements and supporting special requirements related to FOIA, international programs, government vehicle drivers, safety, and security. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure that performance requirements for PEO Headquarters and Program Management Offices are met effectively.
