About The Position
The Operations Analyst II position at the Florida Gaming Control Commission is a highly responsible role focused on complex licensing work within the Division of Pari-Mutuel Wagering. The Commission's mission is to ensure the integrity of gaming activities through effective regulation, licensing, and enforcement. This position requires a candidate who can manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under tight deadlines. The role involves significant independent work as well as collaboration within a team to research, gather, and analyze information related to licensing applications. The working hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and good attendance is crucial due to the time-sensitive nature of the work. Candidates must be prepared to report to work daily and on time, with leave requests needing to be made in advance except in emergencies.
