About the position

The Operations Analyst II role at Constellation involves managing and optimizing scheduling processes across multiple platforms. The role operates primarily in a remote capacity but requires the candidate to work within the Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate production workload using enterprise job scheduling tools.
  • Identify abnormal conditions and collaborate with peers or managers to recommend solutions.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining production scheduling systems while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate scheduling for high-priority events, such as quarter-end, year-end, and disaster recovery.
  • Act as a key contact between IT operations and business users during product releases, implementations, and upgrades.
  • Lead and contribute to the development of processes that comply with standard business practices.
  • Configure technologies and apply efficient programming languages to meet organizational needs.
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver new system features and fix production issues.
  • Maintain scheduling and alerting environments, ensuring all changes are understood and efficiently implemented.
  • Lead or support medium-sized operations projects, preparing required project documentation and attending meetings to track progress.
  • Submit change requests and develop plans for smooth production implementations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Operations Analyst
  • General knowledge of all phases of computer operations including basic system management skills for performance monitoring and scheduling
  • Successful completion of CA Workload Automation CA1/CA11
  • LOMA Level 1 Certification within 2 years of employment
