The Operations Analyst II plays a crucial role in managing the overall operations of the company, ensuring effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures as established by the organization. This position is pivotal in enhancing operational procedures, systems, and principles, particularly in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, and management reporting. The Operations Analyst is tasked with identifying opportunities to expand business opportunities and improve operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the President, the Operations Analyst II supports several directors and managers within the company while performing daily duties. This role involves interacting with contractor personnel to provide guidance, leadership, and direction. The analyst is responsible for identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner, gathering and analyzing information skillfully, and developing alternative solutions. Additionally, the Operations Analyst supervises program staff regarding operations, implements processes and policies, and oversees the work of the team. Essential duties include managing the company’s Applicant Tracking System, collaborating with Business Development (BD) and Program Management (PM) leads to create and maintain Position Descriptions (PDs), and posting job openings on various platforms to maximize exposure. The analyst will also develop and maintain a recruiting process, attend job fairs and customer events, and coordinate proposal planning. Other responsibilities include recruiting, selecting, training, and managing employees, communicating job expectations, and reviewing compensation actions. The Operations Analyst II will also work closely with the management team to implement policies and procedures, communicate operational issues, and maintain BD SharePoint sites.
