About the position

The Operations Research Analyst position focuses on improving the coordination and management of large organizations through the application of analytical methods derived from mathematics, science, and engineering. The role involves addressing various organizational challenges, including strategy, planning, resource allocation, and performance measurement, by utilizing advanced analytical techniques and mathematical modeling.

Responsibilities

• Gather information to identify organizational issues.
• Select and apply appropriate analytical techniques to solve problems.
• Construct mathematical models to describe systems and their components.
• Analyze large databases to extract meaningful insights.
• Evaluate different scenarios to predict system behavior under varying conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Education, or Mathematics.
• Master's degree in Operations Research or Mathematics.
• 10 years of professional experience in operations research.
• Experience with Undersea Sensors and Acoustic Analyst Intelligence.
• Operational tactical Submarine experience in ASW/ASUW.
