About the position

The Operations Analyst position at Broadridge focuses on enhancing operational efficiency while supporting buy-side clients in the financial industry, specifically in Investment Accounting. The role involves collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team and requires strong accounting and organizational skills to maintain financial controls and improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize essential accounting and organizational skills while working both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support buy side clients
  • Maintain tight control over the project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget
  • Ensure that financial controls and investment accounting policies and procedures are maintained, while seeking improvement
  • Ensure that operational teams and subcontractors have a clear understanding of client requirements
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide day-to-day client advice and support
  • Promote the organization's capabilities to clients, identify sales opportunities to be forwarded to account managers, and achieve contract extensions or additional business within the account(s)
  • Perform clerical or administrative work
  • Use administrative, data organizing and coordination skills to complete work
  • Perform duties according to established procedures

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working as an Operations Analyst
  • Experience in financial industry required - Investment Accounting and Private Equity
  • Understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines
  • Strong knowledge of account workflows (Journalization of investment transactions, cash and investment position reconciliations, and period closes)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
