About the position

The Operations Analyst position in Cleveland, OH, is a 12-month contract role focused on supporting the technology infrastructure of a forward-thinking organization. The analyst will work closely with team members to resolve incidents and requests related to various IT environments, including Voice and Data Networks, Servers, Client PCs, and Mainframes. The role requires a commitment to maintaining system health and availability in a 24x7 production environment, with opportunities for either 2nd or 3rd shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Resolve hardware/software issues via incident management process.
• Help ensure the health and availability of systems by assisting in the resolution of any incidents or requests impacting outages.
• Work independently in a 24x7 production-oriented environment.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience supporting a large corporate environment.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline is preferred; however, candidates with a combination of education and work experience will be considered.
• Experience with Routers/Switches (Cisco and Juniper).
• Proficiency in Cisco IOS and Junos OS.
• Network Analysis and VPN experience.
• Experience with Windows Server 2000-2012.
• Familiarity with VMWare (5.1).
