We are searching for an Operations Program Analyst, Junior to support the Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office (PMA-262) in Patuxent River, Maryland. This is an in-office position. The Operations Program Analyst will apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. The role involves analyzing requirements, status, budget, and schedules, performing management, technical, or business case analyses, and collecting, completing, organizing, and interpreting data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. The analyst will track program/project status and schedules while applying government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management. Responsibilities include independently conducting administrative and record-keeping aspects of the operation/program, including calendar support, meeting minutes, and scheduling. The analyst will apply knowledge of office management, methods, and procedures in producing and maintaining documentation, correspondence, records, or directives. They will prepare materials for meetings, read regulations and directives, assist in preparing necessary briefing material related to such regulations and directives, and prepare reports and summaries. The role also involves requesting information from other offices for periodic or special conferences, reports, inquiries, etc., interpreting and adapting guidelines, and managing incoming mail and telephone calls. Additionally, the analyst will maintain, transfer, retire, or purge file systems as required and update and maintain multiple tasker and tracking databases.

Responsibilities

  • Independently conduct administrative and record-keeping aspects of the operation/program, including calendar support, meeting minutes, and scheduling.
  • Apply knowledge of office management, methods, and procedures in producing and maintaining documentation, correspondence, records, or directives.
  • Prepare materials for meetings, read regulations and directives, and assist in preparing necessary briefing material related to such regulations and directives.
  • Prepare reports and summaries or assist with replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources such as reports, documents, correspondence, and other offices.
  • Request information from other offices for periodic or special conferences, reports, inquiries, etc.
  • Interpret and adapt guidelines, including unwritten policies, precedents, and practices.
  • Receive, open as necessary, and review incoming mail, determine proper routing, reroute as needed, sort into action or non-action categories, and file as necessary.
  • Route telephone calls and mail by specific name request or by specific functional area.
  • Reply to inquiries, selecting relevant information from various sources such as reports, documents, correspondence, and other offices.
  • Maintain, transfer, retire, or purge file systems as required.
  • Update and maintain multiple tasker and tracking databases.
  • Update and maintain calendars and schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree with an additional two (2) years of experience, or four (4) years of additional experience.
  • A minimum of four years of experience or less than 3 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
