About the position

The Operations Analyst at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for managing and reviewing private pricing agreements, ensuring accuracy in contractual language and pricing calculations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with various stakeholders and proactively identify data improvements. The analyst will also be involved in regular reporting and data analysis to support internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the process of reviewing private pricing agreements and data entry to ensure accuracy of terms, contractual language, and pricing calculations.
• Act as a Private Deal Subject Matter Expert, diving deep with multiple stakeholders to resolve complexities related to private deal data.
• Establish priorities independently and ensure proper monthly variance reconciliation and communication with Sales, Customer Support, and Accounting teams.
• Proactively identify and implement data improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements.
• Retrieve and analyze data using Excel and other data management systems.
• Conduct regular reporting efforts and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in business analysis or a similar role.
• Experience in creation/review and contractual verbiage.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with machine learning concepts.
• Familiarity with Eclipse and other data tools like Data Loader, Demand Tools, and IDE.
• Experience working with private deal data.
