About the position

This position is responsible for managing master data for the Alchemee business unit within SAP and PLM systems. The role focuses on ensuring that item attributes are accurately maintained to support production, planning, and order execution. The individual will collaborate closely with the Supply Chain team to address item availability and resolve any discrepancies in item data.

Responsibilities

• Manage master data for the Alchemee business unit in SAP and PLM.
• Perform tasks related to item availability for production, planning, and order execution.
• Review weekly Item Status and BOMs with Planning for both USA and CAN Codes.
• Identify and correct specific item errors in SAP, such as missing company, plant, location, sales, shipping, costing, or accounting views.
• Update item Master list for Planning based on specifications released by Quality.
• Update inventory attributes and CMO as needed.
• Review daily item requests in PLM from the Packaging Team.
• Confirm if new codes are needed or if they already exist in the system.
• Assign new SAP codes to PLM requests as necessary.
• Review and update header fields in SAP, including Supersede, Assigned CMO's, Orgs, Class, and Supply size.
• Review and update BOMs for Straight Fill, Rework, and Kit.
• Complete and approve tasks as Item Master and Supply Chain in PLM.
• Manage and maintain all new item requests for all markets (US, CAN, Japan, International) in SAP.
• Enter any missing final basic and inventory information in SAP once item specs are approved.
• Review and assign plants, locations, and distribution channels as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of SAP experience, preferably in materials management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Supply Chain Management (desired but not required).
• Project Management experience (preferred).
