About the position

SEI is seeking an Operations Analyst for the Family Office Services Portfolio Reconciliation team. The primary goal of this role is to ensure client retention through consolidated reporting and reconciliation of transactions against custodial statements for accounts containing financial securities. The position may be eligible for hybrid work arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily and monthly client account reconciliation services across custodial and alternative investment accounts using proprietary software technology.
• Work closely with the Implementation and Global Access teams to understand the client's portfolio and fund structure.
• Troubleshoot complex exceptions, complete new account setup and rebuild, and provide data management for alternative assets.
• Review client reporting to validate accuracy and collect security pricing details from third-party vendors.
• Manage documentation of processes and procedures relating to individual client needs.
• Communicate with internal teams or client teams to resolve open issues and questions.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
• A fundamental understanding of accounting principles and investment terminology.

• Self-motivation, organization, and drive to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client support through email and phone calls.
• Strong customer service skills, to support daily communication with clients and service providers.
• Internship experience preferred.
